Intermediate Active Medical Device Training
Course Introduction
The course is ideally suited to those with knowledge of intermediate medical electronics equipment but lacking experience with intermediate biomedical systems. Participants will gain confidence in working with intermediate biomedical equipment by carrying out structured, practical session on equipment covered during the course.
Course Aim
This course will build on intermediate knowledge and practical experience of active medical devices so that you can safely and competently undertake maintenance of intermediate medical devices.
Course Objective
- Describe the main components associated with medical gas pipeline systems
- Describe the main components associated with medical gas pipeline systems
- Determine the fundamental building block of medical electronics equipment and its related physiology.
- Demonstrate the principle of operation of medical electronic equipment.
- Assess main hazards associated with intermediate medical electronics equipment.
- Perform and analyze test to assess the electrical safety of intermediate medical electronics equipment.
- Perform and analyzetest to assess the performance intermediate medical electronics equipment.
- Perform and inspect minor troubleshooting and repair.
