Course Introduction

This course is aimed at staff whose duties include the installation and maintenance of medical gas pipeline systems, particularly those who are (or will be) designated Competent Persons by a Health service organization or are employees of contractors performing such works.

Course Aim

This course will develop the knowledge and skills relating to medical gas system practice so that you can carry out the installation, commissioning and engineering tests which are designated to a Competent Person (as listed in HTM 02) and to be aware of the dangers involved.

Course Prerequisite

Competent Persons by a Health service organization or are employees of contractors performing such works.
