Electrical Safety Testing Of Electrical Medical Equipment

Course Introduction

This course is recommended for all the Biomedical Technical Personnel and Engineers who require the electrical and technical skills in their daily practice. On the other hand, thus program is also suitable for the personnel who would like to enhance the knowledge of Safety Testing and IEC Standards of Electrical Medical Equipment for their own understanding.

Course Aim

To equip the candidates with a good practice on the Electrical Safety Testing of Medical Equipment and prevent from the associated hazard.

Course Objective

Define and perform all engineering tests relevant to the commissioning and refurbishing of medical gas pipeline systems
Describe and apply all relevant safety procedures when working on medical gas pipeline systems and identify potentially hazardous practices and situations
Manage a Permit to Work system for medical gas pipeline systems by performing all duties of an Authorized Person as defined in HTM 02
Apply the principles and algorithms in current guidance to the design of medical gas pipeline systems
Contribute to the writing/updating of a current policy
